What is now The Law Offices of Joseph W. Campbell was once Nichols & Richard, a practice founded in 1931. The practice later achieved the distinction of all named partners becoming Fellows in the American College of Trial Lawyers. Mr. Campbell and one of the partners took over the practice in 1978, then formed the predecessor of the present firm. Mr. Campbell and his firm have represented clients in the Courts of all 58 California Counties and in the State’s Federal Courts, as well as in the Federal Courts of Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Nevada, and Hawaii.

Joseph W. Campbell’s Background
Joseph W. Campbell was born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey and was admitted to the bar in California. Mr. Campbell was educated at Dartmouth College, Boalt Hall School of Law, and the University of California.
Mr. Campbell holds memberships with the Alameda County and Contra Costa County Bar Associations; The State Bar of California; Alameda-Contra Costa County Trial Lawyers Association; American Association for Justice; Dartmouth Lawyers Association;and Consumer Attorneys of California.
